As Director of Product for "Build it Right," you will redefine how innovation, security, and velocity intersect across Capital One’s high‑stakes, cloud‑native technology ecosystem. Positioned at the nexus of engineering excellence and enterprise trust, you will champion a unified product vision across three foundational pillars: Service Enablement, expanding secure access to cutting‑edge cloud capabilities; Enterprise Architecture, streamlining application approvals and embedding architectural best practices; and a centralized Policy‑as‑Code Platform, driving continuous, automated discovery and enforcement of technical standards.

In this role, you will re‑imagine traditional governance into intuitive "paved roads"—turning regulatory complexity into a frictionless launchpad that empowers engineering teams to build fast, build safely, and build with confidence. As an inspiring executive and people leader, you will empower a high‑performing group of customer‑obsessed Product Managers dedicated to solving real‑world friction for developers, risk officers, and cybersecurity partners. You will champion an environment that aggressively leverages AI as a force multiplier—using intelligent automation to accelerate policy discovery, automate architecture reviews, and deliver predictive risk insights.

• Chicago, IL: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
• McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management
• New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Director, Product Management
• Plano, TX: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management
• Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
