Position Overview
The Director is responsible for developing and refining an integrated growth strategy for high volume issuance solutions for financial card and government ID markets. This includes leading cross‑functional initiatives across product management, engineering, customer operations, marketing, and sales to drive recurring revenue. The role involves crafting solution strategy and roadmap, pricing, and ensuring market share growth while meeting revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
Strategic Ownership
- Develop and present business case recommendations for new market opportunities, solution performance, and investment requirements to facilitate business planning and decision making.
- Develop and implement pricing strategy recommendations with a focus on simplification.
- Assist with strategic partnering activities and negotiations to strengthen the value proposition and market penetration.
Communication
- Serve as product subject matter expert for marketing materials and sales training development to ensure accurate messaging.
- Define and document solution requirements, use cases, and interface diagrams for use by engineering and development teams.
- Communicate at the executive level with the ability to persuade and articulate necessary responses to stakeholders.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze market and industry trends, identify and segment key customer groups, track competitive intelligence, and incorporate insights into solution plans and roadmaps.
- Pursue VOC feedback to inform product roadmap and gauge customer satisfaction.
- Develop deep understanding of banking and government ID programs globally, including disruptive technologies, and communicate market intelligence internally.
- Establish key partnerships with internal and external customers and industry associations to anticipate current and future needs.
Business Performance
- Manage global revenue and profitability for assigned products, ensuring targets are met and remediating when at risk.
- Own and maintain segment roadmaps, aligning product development, market messaging, and business activities with Entrust initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales to execute roadmap plans and achieve company goals.
Leadership & People Management
- Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance reviews, and development activities.
- Monitor team performance against standards and support disciplinary decisions when needed.
- Act as an escalation point, providing leadership and guidance to the team.
- Direct work and manage projects through planning, organization, and project management.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or technology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product management and/or development with experience delivering software, hardware, and service solutions, preferably in ID and Card Issuance markets.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and creating detailed functional specifications.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Legal work authorization in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or technical degree.
- Knowledge or experience in financial, banking, payments, or government ID industries.
- Experience with AI and security solutions.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Excellent time‑management skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Location
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in our Shakopee, MN headquarters.
Compensation
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $165,506–$242,743 per year in the primary posting location. Compensation details may vary based on location, education, skills, and experience. The position also has eligibility for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
