Job summary

ATPCO, the world's primary source for airfare content, seeks a Director of Product Management to lead a portfolio of products, aligning strategy with market trends and customer needs. You will drive lifecycle oversight, financial accountability, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize value and industry impact.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for ATPCO's order management portfolio.
• Evolve products to support the transition from tickets, EMDs, and legacy revenue accounting to Offers and Orders.
• Drive the shift of settlement and tax calculations upstream into offer creation.
• Partner with industry bodies to shape standards and end-to-end airline processes.
• Develop and execute portfolio strategies balancing innovation, market needs, and customer value.
• Conduct market and customer analysis to identify opportunities and differentiate products.
• Optimize budgets, resources, and staffing for high-impact initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive product development and stakeholder alignment.
• Mentor PMs fostering a customer-centric Lean and Agile mindset.
• Oversee product lifecycles and drive enhancements delivering value and adoption.

Job Description:

The Director, Product Management leads the vision, strategy, and execution for a portfolio of ATPCO products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, market trends, and evolving customer needs. This role is responsible for optimizing product capabilities to maximize customer and business value, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration across functions. The Product Director ensures lifecycle oversight, financial accountability, and effective integration of products into the wider organizational strategy, positioning ATPCO as a leader in the airline technology ecosystem.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for ATPCO's order management portfolio, including sales data exchange, settlement services, and taxes, aligned with ATPCO's long-term goals and industry trends.
• Assess current products and services and lead their evolution to support the industry’s transition from tickets, EMDs, and legacy revenue accounting processes to Offers and Orders.
• Drive the shift of settlement and tax calculations upstream into offer creation, ensuring results are captured in the order to support downstream settlement and delivery.
• Partner with IATA, ARC, ACH, and other airline-owned industry bodies to shape standards and create seamless, end-to-end processes for airlines.
• Develop and execute portfolio strategies across a diverse set of products that balance innovation, market needs, and customer value.
• Conduct market and customer analysis to identify opportunities and refine product positioning for differentiation.
• Optimize budgets, resources, and staffing to prioritize high-impact initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams (collaborating with commercial, strategy, marketing, finance, and technical teams) to ensure cohesive product development and effective stakeholder alignment.
• Mentor and develop product managers and product management teams, fostering a customer-centric, Lean, and Agile mindset across the organization.
• Oversee product lifecycles and drive enhancements that deliver business value, superior user experiences, and industry adoption.
• Represent ATPCO as a trusted industry leader in order management modernization, driving innovation to address evolving airline needs.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $193,000 - $250,000
