1upHealth, Inc. is seeking a seasoned healthcare product leader to own the strategy and roadmap for our payer analytics and innovation products. You will report to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and drive business outcomes including revenue, profitability, adoption, and retention.

You will translate payer business problems into differentiated product capabilities, lead pilots with design partners, and evangelize our offerings at conferences and customer events, shaping 1upHealth's growth.

Formación

• 8+ years in product management with 3+ years in payer analytics or health plan data.
• Deep familiarity with payer data and use cases such as HEDIS/Stars and risk adjustment.
• Track record of taking new products from concept to market adoption.
• Strong ownership of commercial results (revenue, profitability, adoption).
• Comfortable working with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, X12) and CMS regulations.
• Executive communication and credibility with data scientists, engineers, and customers.

• Track regulatory and market shifts and turn them into product opportunities.

1upHealth is building on its FHIR-native roots in interoperability compliance and investing significantly in the payer data and analytics space. We're looking for a seasoned healthcare product leader to identify the biggest opportunities in that market and spearhead our next wave of growth.

Operating in a general manager-like capacity for this new business, this role’s success will be measured by financial targets, not just delivering on the roadmap. This is a high-visibility role: you'll shape strategy alongside the CPTO and CEO. Payer data experience is a must, and expertise supporting quality programs such as HEDIS and Stars is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for 1up's innovation products, reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer
• Own business outcomes and financial success for innovation products, including revenue, profitability, adoption, and retention targets
• Identify and validate new payer analytics opportunities through customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis
• Translate payer business problems (quality, risk adjustment, utilization, cost of care, member engagement, network management, VBC arrangements) into differentiated product capabilities
• Lead concept development, prototyping, and pilot programs with design partners and early customers
• Define success metrics and business cases for new initiatives, and make clear build/partner/kill recommendations
• Partner with Engineering and Data teams on analytics architecture, data models, and feasibility of emerging approaches, including AI/ML
• Lead commercial enablement for innovation products, equipping Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing with positioning, pricing, packaging, sales tools, and training
• Evangelize 1up's new products externally as the product's public face, presenting at industry conferences, webinars, and customer events, and serving as a subject‑matter expert with customers, partners, and analysts
• Track regulatory and market shifts, e.g., value-based care, Stars/HEDIS, and turn them into product opportunities

Relevant Experience

• 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years leading products in payer analytics or health plan data
• Deep familiarity with payer data (claims, clinical, eligibility, pharmacy) and use cases such as HEDIS/Stars, risk adjustment, and population health
• Track record of taking new products from concept to market adoption
• Demonstrated ownership of commercial results (revenue, P&L, or business-line targets) for a product or portfolio
• Working knowledge of healthcare data standards and interoperability (FHIR, HL7, X12) and related CMS regulations
• Comfortable with analytics tooling and data concepts; able to engage credibly with data scientists and engineers
• Experience selling to or working inside health plans; an established payer network is a plus
• Strong executive communication and customer-facing presence; a confident public speaker comfortable presenting at industry events
