Equitable is seeking a product development leader for its Institutional Business & New Ventures team. This role involves leading product development, negotiating with partners, and ensuring successful product launches. Summary
The Institutional Business & New Ventures team at Equitable is a rapidly expanding, start-up business area which delivers innovative insurance solutions to institutional clients for protected investment and retirement income solutions. This position presents a rare opportunity to join a highly visible team at an early stage and grow with the business.Our mission is to help our clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives.
Institutional products include exciting growth markets which enhance retirement security for more Americans through in-plan annuities where Equitable is a leading provider of retirement income solutions in the defined contribution space. Our institutional products also include other traditional markets such as stable value and tailored offerings for adjacent markets like Health Savings Accounts. This team also supports New Ventures projects which looks to incubate and execute new commercial opportunities which can include new partnerships, insurance products, or service offerings.
This position is for a product development leader who is commercially-minded and results-oriented to progress product development through any point of the product lifecyle – ideation, partner identification, contracting, build execution, and ongoing management.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
In office schedule: This team member will be working in the office 2-3 days per week.
The base salary range for this position is $108,000-$160,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Skills

Data Gathering and Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques and processes; ability to gather and analyze data on the learning needs of a target population.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Teamwork: Knowledge of the necessity and value of teamwork; experience with; ability to work cooperatively towards shared goals and being supportive of others at all levels.
