Job Details
Job Location: Any, OH
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $185000.00 - $200000.00 Salary/year
Director, Product
Drive the next generation of fan-focused mobile experiences in football

About PFF
Pro Football Focus (PFF) is the leading authority in football analytics and data, trusted by all 32 NFL teams, major broadcasters (NBC, FOX, CBS), and over 90 college programs. Our vision is to redefine how football is understood and experienced — and our consumer products are central to that mission.

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Product to lead our direct-to-consumer (DTC) mobile product strategy. In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery through go-to-market — for our fan-facing mobile apps designed for fantasy players, bettors, and passionate football fans.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of football fandom, lead a high-impact product function, and build a team that drives innovation and growth in a fast-paced, agile environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Define & Lead Product Vision: Own the strategic roadmap for our mobile DTC products, aligning with company growth objectives and user needs.

  • Customer-Centric Innovation: Identify product opportunities through market research, user testing, and data insights. Apply frameworks like Design Thinking and Jobs-To-Be-Done to define and refine features.

  • Own Execution: Lead cross-functional teams through design sprints, A/B testing, agile development, and product launches — balancing speed, quality, and innovation.

  • Be a Translator: Write crisp, actionable business-to-technical requirements (and vice versa). Bridge stakeholders across engineering, marketing, and design with clarity and purpose.

  • Measure What Matters: Define success metrics, monitor performance, and iterate based on data to drive adoption, engagement, and retention.

  • Scale Impact: Build and lead a world-class team of product managers and contribute to a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.

What Sets You Apart
  • Proven success managing mobile software products from concept to launch and beyond.

  • Deep technical fluency, ideally with hands-on experience working with or leading mobile app development teams.

  • Strong background in DTC subscription-based models, pricing strategy, and customer retention.

  • Skilled in user research, persona development, A/B testing, and rapid prototyping.

  • Ability to distill complex problems into simple, scalable solutions and prioritize ruthlessly.

  • Exceptional communicator with strong storytelling and presentation skills.

  • Hands-on, humble, and highly accountable — you thrive in ambiguity and get things done.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, including 2–3 years focused on mobile app products. (3+ years acceptable with relevant MBA or startup leadership experience)

  • Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Startups Welcome: Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments or founding teams is highly valued.

  • Methodologies: Fluency in Agile development, sprint planning, product discovery, and growth experimentation.

Why Join Us?
  • Shape groundbreaking mobile experiences for millions of fans.

  • Work with elite talent and leaders across the U.S. and Europe — remotely.

  • Join a company that combines the energy of a startup with the influence of a trusted brand.

  • Have a voice in strategic decisions and future team growth.
