Job summary

Our client is an international CDMO seeking a Director of Process Chemistry to provide scientific leadership across process chemistry programs, helping to develop robust, scalable and commercially viable processes for small-molecule compounds. This senior role combines technical leadership, project oversight and client engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in Chemistry (PhD preferred) with 7+ years in process chemistry, experience in cGMP environments, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Min. master’s degree in Chemistry; PhD preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience in process chemistry, development or related field.
• Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing and ICH guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee process chemistry activities across development programs.
• Provide strategic direction for route selection, process development and tech transfer.
• Collaborate with analytics, manufacturing, quality and regulatory teams.
• Mentor and develop scientists; promote continuous improvement.
• Contribute to proposals, client visits and business development.
