Job summary

IDEAYA is a precision medicine oncology company seeking a Director, Process Chemistry in South San Francisco. This role leads DS development, manages CDMOs, and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure timely DS supply for PK/PD, efficacy, and clinical studies.

Qualifications

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver DS/CMC activities across preclinical, IND-enabling and NDA stages.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and data traceability in a regulated environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to oversee DS development and manufacturing at CDMOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead DS development by managing multiple CDMOs across all stages of drug development.
• Oversee DS/CMC strategies to support PK/PD, efficacy, DRF and toxicology studies.
• Author/review technical development reports, batch records, change controls, deviations, and investigations.
• Contribute to IND/IMPD/NDA submissions and regulatory interactions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align DS and CMC timelines with project goals.
