Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Director for our fund administration team in the United States. You will lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, oversee fund operations, and drive process improvements while guiding junior staff.

You will handle financial reporting, journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics, including IRR, with responsibility for audits and tax requests. This role emphasizes high-quality client service and robust governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.
• Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting, finance, and fund administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance providing a solid foundation for the work.

Job description

As a Director on our fund administration team, you'll work directly with leading private equity clients, supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications under the guidance of our experienced team. You'll oversee client deliverables, review complex fund calculations and financials, manage audits, train junior staff, and drive process improvements across multiple engagements.

• You’ll lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed.

• You’ll prepare and review key financial components like journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
• You’ll manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while continuously improving operational processes.
• You’ll prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support team development and efficiency.

Requirements

• You bring over 10 years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.
