Job description

SCS Financial seeks a motivated and qualified individual for the position of Client Advisor. The ideal candidate will be a highly accomplished wealth management professional who possesses a track record of working with UHNW individuals, families and family offices as well as endowments and foundations. This person will thoroughly understand the issues, nuances and key topics relevant to this client base and be willing to provide the highest level of client service, professionalism and confidentiality.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:
  1. Actively manage and oversee the client’s investment and financial plans;
  2. Lead client meetings and presentations;
  3. Effectively analyze, develop solutions, and communicate sophisticated wealth management topics in a concise, understandable manner;
  4. Participate in client meetings and assist with client inquiries and requests in a timely manner;
  5. Serve as first point of contact for some clients;
  6. Think creatively and strategically about client needs;
  7. Capitalize on experience to drive process and efficiency improvements;
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; CFP or CFA designation preferred
  2. 7 + years of relevant professional experience in an investment, wealth management, estate planning, or tax/accounting environment
  3. Fluency in planning and/or investment topics
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications
  5. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  6. Analytical with a strong attention to detail; Problem solve effectively
  7. High energy and highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  8. Strong written and oral communication skills
  9. Willingness to travel on occasion for client meetings
