AskBio Inc., a Bayer subsidiary, seeks a Director, Pre-Clinical Manufacturing to lead GMP manufacturing for plasmid DNA and rAAV vectors across small to large scales at the RTP facility. You will drive strategy, technology transfer, and cost-effective operations, mentoring PCM teams and coordinating with R&D, PD, and MSAT to support IND-enabling programs.

The role requires hands-on bioprocess expertise, strong leadership, and a track record in biologics manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of hands-on industrial pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience.
• Strong leadership experience managing teams of scientists and associates.
• Experience in manufacturing biologics (mAb, recombinant protein, vaccine, or viral vector).
• Hands-on mammalian cell culture, depth flow filtration (DFF), chromatography, tangential flow filtration (TFF).
• Technical writing with protocols, reports, SOPs, and batch records.

Responsabilidades

• Translate the research portfolio into a coherent manufacturing strategy with material requirements and production pathways.
• Manage pipeline demand and balance schedules across multiple programs.
• Oversee cell culture, transfection, harvest, purification, and vector-specific quality attributes.
• Lead a team maintaining labs and supplies for Pre-Clinical Manufacturing, PD, and MSAT.
• Collaborate with project management to align timelines and communicate progress.
