Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate (OTD/PhD/EdD/DrPH or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• New York State Occupational Therapist Licensure.
• 5+ years of teaching experience in higher education.
• 5+ years of occupational therapy clinical practice experience.
• Active NBCOT certification.
• Experience coordinating or managing academic programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership for the PP-OTD Program in collaboration with the Program Chair.
• Develop and oversee program curricula, policies, procedures, and courses.
• Teach assigned courses and manage delivery, assessment, LMS, materials, and confidential student records.
• Demonstrate proficiency in program administration, teaching, research, and scholarly engagement.
• Coordinate recruitment and admissions to support sustainable program enrollment.
• Guide and mentor students through doctoral capstone projects from conception to dissemination.
• Ensure ACOTE capstone compliance and develop capstone sites and mentors.
