Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group seeks a Director, Power Infrastructure to build global power infrastructure capability for AI data centres and mining infrastructure. You will develop a long-term strategy, lead engagement with utilities and regulators, and provide technical leadership on electrical design and planning for scalable AI infrastructure.

The role requires extensive experience across multi-country projects, strong leadership, and the ability to set standards and best practices for power

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading power infrastructure strategy, utility engagement, or grid interconnection for large-scale, multi-country data centre or infrastructure programs.
• Ability to develop long-term power infrastructure strategy and roadmaps for AI data centres.
• Proven track record engaging utilities, regulators and stakeholders to accelerate power opportunities.

• Serve as power infrastructure expert supporting engineering, project delivery and business decisions.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Government Relations and Business Development to deliver power infrastructure.
• Build global standards, frameworks and best practices for power infrastructure.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership on investments, engineering decisions and emerging technologies.

We are seeking a Director, Power Infrastructure to build Bitdeer's global power infrastructure capability by developing long-term strategy, advancing technical excellence in data centre power systems, and enabling reliable, scalable power for our global AI infrastructure expansion.

What you will be responsible for

• Develop Bitdeer's global power infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Lead utility, transmission and regulatory engagement for new power opportunities.
• Support site selection and power infrastructure planning for AI data centres.
• Provide strategic guidance on grid access, interconnection, substations and transmission planning.
• Provide technical leadership on data centre electrical design, power systems and engineering best practices.
• Research emerging technologies and engineering methodologies to support Bitdeer's long-term AI infrastructure strategy.
• Serve as the company's power infrastructure expert, supporting engineering, project delivery and strategic business decisions.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Government Relations and Business Development to deliver power infrastructure.
• Build global standards, frameworks and best practices for power infrastructure.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior leadership, providing independent insights and recommendations on power infrastructure investments, engineering decisions and emerging technologies to support the company's long-term growth.

How you will stand out

• Extensive experience leading power infrastructure strategy, utility engagement, or grid interconnection for large-scale, multi-country data centre or infrastructure programs.
• Proven track record building trusted relationships with utilities, regulators and key stakeholders to accelerate power acquisition.
• Deep technical expertise in data centre electrical design, power systems engineering, grid access, interconnection, substations and transmission planning.
• Demonstrated ability to establish global standards, frameworks and best practices, and to evaluate power opportunities consistently across regions.
• Strong track record advising senior leadership independently on power infrastructure investments, engineering decisions and emerging technologies.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Government Relations and Business Development teams.
