You will be a key player in bridging the gap between product development and sales, ensuring our products resonate with our target audience and achieve their full market potential.## ## **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:****Strategy & Execution:*** Develop strategic plans and convert them into annual growth plans with supporting functional objectives* Manage product portfolios and new product roadmaps* Develop and deploy annual capital expenditure plans* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of product line initiatives**Market Research & Analysis:*** Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.* Analyze product performance and customer feedback to find opportunities for improvement and optimization.* Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.## **Sales Enablement:*** Serve as a subject matter expert on our products and provide ongoing sales support.* Develop and deliver sales training materials and tools to equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources they need to effectively sell our products.* Create sales playbooks, competitive battle cards, and other sales support resources.## **Performance Measurement & Reporting:*** Responsible for product line financial performance including annual target setting and quarterly forecasting* Establish objectives and key results to measure the effectiveness of product management and new product development initiatives.* Track and analyze product line performance data and present insights to executive leadership.* Use data-driven analysis to optimize revenue and profitability.## **Leadership and Mentorship:*** Manage and mentor Product Management team members.* Provide thought leadership and contribute to the overall business strategy.## **YOU HAVE:*** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).* 15+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering Management, preferably in the electrical industry.* Proven track record of developing and delivering successful go-to-market strategies.* Solid understanding of product positioning, messaging, and branding.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.* Strong presentation abilities.* Product development and commercialization experience* 10+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams.**WE HAVE:*** A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
