**Job Description:**
The Global Markets Platform Group is looking for an individual to take responsibility to manage particular product and platform priorities for Global Markets Operations and Post Trade. The role will focus on technical Product Management requiring proficiency in Global Markets Post Trade to manage product and platform deliveries across a range of functions including Allocation, Confirmations, Booking, Netting, Settlement, Cash Payments, Collateral and Asset Servicing.
The role requires post trade experience and the candidate to be deeply familiar with the end to end lifecycle of products and flows across all business units; including Cash Equities, Repo, Bonds, OTC Derivatives, Swaps, Rates, Commods, FX as well as possessing industry experience and knowledge of key post trade products and offerings.
This further entails having a deep understanding of the markets, clients and products associated with these products and functions. The successful candidate will be a core subject matter expert and a critical pillar in driving operational workflow enhancements, implementing best in class technology solutions and helping deliver meaningful change across the Global Markets infrastructure.
**Role:**
+ Define Product strategy in close collaboration with Operations leads, Technology and Global Markets leadership
+ Define detailed design requirements in conjunction with critical support partners. e.g. Technology, Sales & Trading, Compliance, Legal, Operations, ETRM, etc.
+ Manage and govern key Global Markets investment initiatives
+ Drive detailed analysis of priority products, clients and markets to establish product baselines, peer insights and commercial opportunities
+ Establish coherent, well defined business cases and work with management to pitch investment opportunities
+ Be an active participant in discussions and influence decisions around the end to end lifecycle and the strategic post trade architecture
+ Work closely with Technology and Product partners to maintain oversight of our investments, progress and regulatory obligations
**Responsibilities**
+ Own and drive Product strategy for Global Markets Post Trade functions;
+ Define and document business opportunities and pitch investment cases
+ Document requirements and ensure product delivery aligns to user requirements
+ Measure product baselines and define KPIs, SLOs, SLAs and other target metrics
+ Explore industry, client and competitor trends to ensure product remains relevant and forward looking
+ Ensure the ongoing delivery of critical product as follows:
+ Robust governance and management of core investments and priorities
+ Work and collaborate with IT and Support partners
+ Influence and shape future investment and design decisions in conjunction with management and business leads
**Qualifications:**
+ Technology and Operations background with strong understanding of Cash Equities, Repo, Bonds, OTC Derivatives, Swaps, Rates, Commods and FX lifecycle
+ Highly familiar with operational functions and workflows with a data driven and automation first mindset
+ Experience delivering and driving technical solutions for Allocation, Confirmations, Booking, Netting, Settlement, Cash Payments, Collateral and Asset Servicing functions
+ Comfortable managing diverse stakeholders and challenging status quo and current design principals
+ Strong team work and ability to collaborate with others
+ Excellent problem solver with an ability to work independently and comfortable working in a fluid environment with shifting priorities
+ Highly motivated and strong desire to learn business and new technologies
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Experience with managing operational or system risk
+ Some coding/scripting experience (with knowledge of best practices) in Java/Python preferred
+ FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered
+ Project Management certifications/Experience
