Viatris is seeking a Director of Portfolio Valuation & Decision Analysis to partner with program leaders and cross-functional teams. You will evaluate development strategies, conduct scenario analyses, and drive evidence-based investment decisions across the portfolio.

The role requires 10+ years in life sciences with 6+ years in portfolio management, strong financial modeling, and the ability to present clear recommendations to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences organizations.
• 6+ years in portfolio management, strategic planning, finance, or decision analysis.
• Demonstrated experience supporting stage-gate reviews, portfolio prioritization, and strategic investment decisions.
• Ability to synthesize scientific, commercial, and financial inputs into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program leaders and cross-functional teams to evaluate development strategies and lifecycle opportunities.
• Support stage-gate reviews and governance decisions through objective assessments of value and risk.
• Provide actionable recommendations to support portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Lead the development and ongoing assessment of program business cases and portfolio value.
• Establish and maintain standards for business case development and portfolio valuation.
