Overview of the Role:

The Talent and Organizational Effectiveness (T&OE) Center of Excellence (COE) connects our people to opportunities to help them reach their potential and achieve our goals. We establish industry-leading practices to attract, develop, and retain top talent to future-proof our business and support teams in delivering their best work.

The Director, Portfolio Management - Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, will ensure the delivery of our strategic objectives as a COE. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the portfolio of COE deliverables and rhythms cohesively.
  • Enabling seamless delivery and a cohesive experience for employees, leaders, and partners.
  • Enhancing project and change management capabilities to deliver impactful, sustainable value.
  • Partnering with leadership and stakeholders across Talent, Experience, and Technology to meet our 2025 priorities.

Role Scope:

  • Align COE priorities with P&C strategy and Mastercard’s vision.
  • Manage an integrated roadmap and project rhythms.
  • Serve as a technology liaison with finance, technology, communications, and analytics teams.
  • Track and prioritize the product portfolio, monitor progress, and identify process improvements.
  • Build robust project and portfolio management capabilities, including capacity planning.
  • Provide change and project management support for strategic initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in product, project, and portfolio management, preferably in HR.
  • Proficiency with enterprise-wide project management tools.
  • Experience with change management and organizational development in transformational initiatives.
  • Strong track record in managing cross-functional project portfolios, especially in go-to-market strategies.
  • Business acumen with stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with agile development and design thinking is a plus.

Salary Range: $144,000 - $230,000
