Job Description
The Director of Population Health Analytics leads the assessment and analytics of initiatives as directed by leadership. The role requires expertise in Risk Adjustment, Medical Economics, Risk-Based performance, and the intersection of technology and healthcare. The director will serve as a technical expert and liaison to Privia leadership and peers on analytic issues.

Primary Job Duties

  1. Champion measurement of Population Health Performance Deals, including deal structure, KPIs, and analytical measures.
  2. Design, build, and maintain complex models supporting population health, including scenario planning.
  3. Maintain Risk Adjustment modeling and analytics across Value Based Care arrangements.
  4. Create models to measure performance and total cost of care for VBC deals, including scenario estimations.
  5. Perform gap and outliers analysis on medical economics and VBC deals.
  6. Design and execute KPIs to track performance and communicate findings to teams.
  7. Act as a liaison between Medical Economics and stakeholders to share insights in Population Health.
  8. Deep understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs).
  9. Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree or actuarial designation preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills across departments.
  • Experience with healthcare claims, EHR data, and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in analytics/informatics, with proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python.
  • Experience in risk adjustment modeling and implementation.
  • Strategic thinking and regulatory compliance awareness.
  • Must comply with HIPAA regulations.

The salary range is $150,000 to $180,000, plus bonuses and benefits. The role is eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% and restricted stock units. Salary depends on experience, education, and location.
