Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Director, PMO and Change Management Capability, Tools & Standards to build and own the US Commercial project management and change capability system. You will lead a core team and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver transformation with discipline and sustained adoption.

This on-site role in East Hanover, NJ requires 10+ years in PM/Change management, advanced degrees, and certifications like PMP or Prosci. Up to 20% travel; on-site only.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management, change management, transformation, or related fields.
• Experience building methods, toolkits, standards, and capability systems for large organizations.
• Ability to simplify methods without weakening discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define common PM and change management standards for US Commercial initiatives.
• Build self-service toolkits, playbooks, templates, training, and coaching models.
• Partner with transformation teams to align methods with enterprise standards.
• Establish a capability-building roadmap to improve delivery discipline and adoption.
• Measure usage, quality, and value of PM/change methods and tools.
• Lead capability resources and drive continuous improvement of tools and standards.
