Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director of Engineering to own the strategy and execution of integrated web and desktop UI foundations within the ATF team. You will balance hands‑on technical leadership with people management, shaping design systems and shared libraries that power Fidelity's asset management experiences.

You will collaborate with architects, UX, and product leaders to drive platform standards, modern delivery, and disciplined execution, while coaching engineers to grow technically

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
Experience leading enterprise UI platforms, design systems, and shared components.
Strong background with Angular, TypeScript, Java and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with OpenFin and FDC3 interoperability standards.
Proven ability to drive platform strategy and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering strategy and execution for Integrated Experience Platform capabilities.
Mentor engineers, manage performance, and develop talent across teams.
Partner with architecture, UX, and product leaders to set standards.
Guide technical trade‑offs, design reviews, and platform evolution.
Advance AI-enabled interoperability workflows and cloud deployments.
