About Nscale

Nscale is the GPU cloud engineered for AI. We provide cost-effective, high-performance infrastructure for AI start-ups and large enterprise customers. Nscale enables AI-focused companies to achieve superior results by reducing the complexity of AI development. Our GPU cloud bolsters technical capabilities and directly supports strategic business outcomes, including cost management, rapid innovation, and environmental responsibility.

We thrive on a culture of relentless innovation, ownership, and accountability, where every team member takes pride in their work and drives it with excellence and urgency. As an Nscaler, you'll build trust through openness and transparency, where everyone is inspired to do their best work. If you join our team, you'll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.

About the Role

We're looking for a Director, Planning and Scheduling to lead the scheduling function for our data centre construction delivery. You'll own the development, integration, and maintenance of a master program schedule that consolidates inputs from multiple general contractors, trade contractors, and equipment suppliers across the full construction lifecycle.

You'll be the central authority on schedule health, critical path analysis, and risk exposure across site development, shell and core, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) fit-out, and commissioning scopes that support our data centre capacity delivery. You'll partner closely with program leadership, project controls, construction management, and contractor teams to ensure on-time turnover of data halls and supporting infrastructure, and you'll travel extensively (up to 75%) to contractor offices and job sites to validate progress and drive alignment first-hand.

What You'll be Doing
Schedule Integration
  • Develop and maintain an integrated master program schedule (IMS) that consolidates individual contractor schedules — general contractors, MEP trade contractors, equipment vendors, and commissioning agents — into a single source of truth
  • Establish and enforce schedule architecture standards, coding structures, and level-of-detail requirements across all contractors to enable consistent roll-up and integration
  • Identify and manage interfaces, dependencies, and hand-offs across the construction sequence (e.g., site/civil to structural, structural to shell, shell to MEP rough-in, MEP to commissioning and IT load turnover)
  • Administer LoadSpring-hosted Primavera P6 environments to ensure secure, centralized access for all contractor schedulers contributing to the integrated master schedule
Analysis & Reporting
  • Perform critical path method (CPM) analysis to identify drivers of program duration, float erosion, and schedule risk
  • Conduct schedule quality reviews (e.g., DCMA 14-point checks or equivalent) on contractor submittals and drive corrective action
  • Leverage SmartPM analytics to automate schedule health diagnostics, benchmark contractor performance, and detect trends in slippage, compression, and logic changes across submittals
  • Produce regular schedule performance reporting (look-aheads, trend/variance analysis, earned schedule metrics) for program leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Lead schedule risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulation where applicable, to quantify confidence levels on key milestones (building enclosure, MEP rough-in complete, commissioning start, data hall turnover)
Contractor Management
  • Establish schedule submission requirements, update cadences, and reporting standards within contracts and scope documents
  • Review and validate contractor-submitted schedules for logic, resource loading, and alignment to contractual milestones
  • Facilitate schedule integration workshops and interface meetings with multiple general contractors and trade partners to resolve conflicts and align sequencing
  • Hold contractors accountable to committed dates and support recovery planning when schedules slip
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to contractor offices and active construction sites to validate reported progress against field conditions
Program Support & Governance
  • Partner with project controls, cost, and construction teams to align schedule with budget and resource plans
  • Advise program leadership on schedule risks,
