Job summary

United Health Services in New York is seeking a Director of Physician Practice Operations, Primary Care to lead the workflow and performance of the Primary Care Division, driving expert care and top customer service. The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Physician Practices and focuses on strategic planning, quality improvement, and financial monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration or equivalent (Minimum)
• Five (5) years of experience in a health care setting including involvement with physicians, community, program planning and implementation, and operations (Minimum)
• Management level experience in a clinical or hospital setting (Minimum)
• Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow and performance of the Primary Care Division to achieve expert care, excellent customer service and maximal physician/staff productivity.
• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Physician Practices on strategic planning, development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring.

This individual works closely with the Senior Vice President of Physician Practices regarding strategic planning, development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring.

$54.17 - $81.25 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration or equivalent
• Five (5) years of experience in a health care setting including involvement with physicians, community, program planning and implementation, and operations
• Management level experience in a clinical or hospital setting
