Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced PharmSci leader to drive transformation across research and manufacturing operations. You will oversee CapEx/OpEx governance, partner with Procurement, and shape SOWs, contracts, and purchasing support.

You will develop a strategic vision for PharmSci, deliver near-term benefits, and build tools for executive reporting while coordinating risk, timelines, and budgets across global teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years R&D or consulting experience in pharma.
• 8+ years people management in global matrix teams.
• Experience implementing large-scale strategy including M&A or outsourcing.
• Accountability for mission-critical deliverables in pharma operations.
• Strong strategic and operational background with data-driven problem solving.
• Solid business/financial acumen and structured thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide team leadership to ensure PharmSci business processes operate smoothly (CapEx, OpEx, Governance) and support SOWs, contracts, and purchasing.
• Develop a strategic vision across PharmSci functions and drive near-term benefits and long-term direction.
• Create tools and trackers to streamline decision-making and executive reporting.
• Coordinate activities with risk management, dashboards, and scorecards across programs.
• Lead Clinical Manufacturing transformation, managing roadmaps and budgets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement and measurement for transformation.
• Advise leaders and support workstreams with project management and change management.
• Develop training and communication curricula for teams.
