Job summary

Methodist Hospital Sacramento seeks a Director of Nursing Perioperative Services to provide strategic leadership and full operational oversight of ORs, PACU, pre-operative services, and SPD. You will influence patient outcomes by guiding clinical practice and coordinating with senior leaders to implement initiatives.

Your leadership will shape a fast-paced, high-quality surgical program. You will lead a team of nurses and managers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exemplary care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education and experience; Master's degree in nursing or related field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for operating rooms, PACU, pre-operative services, and SPD.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and front-line managers to maintain high patient care standards in fast-paced environments.
• Advise medical staff and department heads on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategy.
• Communicate organizational goals to the staff and drive improvements in patient experience and outcomes.
• Oversee performance initiatives, ensure safety, quality, and efficient surgical services.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Master's degree in nursing or related field (MSN/MBA/MHA)

Leadership experience
