Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN required, Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Licenses/ Certifications: State of Iowa Nursing License; valid driver's license for work-related duties.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong leadership, communication, financial planning, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a strategic plan for Surgical Services aligned with the hospital’s goals.
• Collaborates with physicians, departments, and administration to ensure quality and safety.
• Manages budgets, staffing, and operational performance to meet service line targets.
• Promotes staff development, engagement, and adherence to regulatory standards.
