Job summary

Friends of the High Line is seeking a Director of People Engagement to partner with senior leaders across the organization, guiding employee relations, performance, and workforce planning. You will drive talent development, organizational design, and change initiatives to strengthen the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Five to eight years of HR experience in business partner, employee relations, OD, or related role.
• Experience partnering with leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnership with leaders to align priorities with department plans.
• Lead employee relations cases, investigations, and corrective actions with risk considerations.
• Coach leaders on feedback, documentation, performance, attendance, and inclusive management.
• Develop workforce strategies that support business objectives and long-term capability.
• Advise on organizational design, role clarity, succession planning, and capability growth.
• Collaborate on organizational development, learning initiatives, and leadership development.
• Support change management and continuity of enterprise People & Culture programs.
