The University of Rochester is hiring for a senior Child Life professional responsible for coordinating and evaluating pediatric life services. You will supervise staff and volunteers, ensure adherence to standards, and lead program development in a busy patient care unit.

Responsibilities include budgeting, performance reviews, staff training, and collaboration with nursing and other providers to promote total quality care for patients and families.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Child Growth and Development.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• ACLP certification upon hire is required.
• CCLS certification within 1 year is required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and evaluates child life programs and maintains standards of care for patients and their families.
• Directs and supervises staff and pediatric volunteers; manages personnel in delivering child life services.
• Develops short and long-term objectives for the program and evaluates programming.
• Participates in planning, coordination, and implementation of community programs that support the organization.
• Develops and manages the operating budget and prepares monthly variance reports.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Child Growth and Development

ACLP certification upon hire

CCLS - Certified Child Life Specialist within 1 year
