Job summary

The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist to serve as Medical Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging. The role supports the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, with emphasis on Cardiac MRI and CT expertise in a growing team.

You will lead imaging programs, collaborate across departments, and engage in education and research.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and eligible for Texas medical license.
• Extensive experience in Cardiac MRI and CT imaging modalities.
• Leadership experience in advanced imaging; high-volume centers preferred.
• Preference for medical administration, clinical research experience.
• Eligible for faculty appointment at UT Austin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee imaging services including MRI/CT for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical leadership, program development, and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Radiology, UT Health and UT Austin leadership to meet goals.
• Manage outpatient and inpatient services and supervision of APPs.
