Department Overview

Serving as Minnesota's children’s hospital since 1924, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota is the eighth-largest pediatric health care organization in the U.S. It provides nearly 13,000 inpatient visits and over 200,000 outpatient visits annually. The organization includes a 319-bed hospital with services across all major pediatric specialties, as well as outpatient centers in Minnetonka, Roseville, and Woodbury, offering services from emergency care to specialized outpatient programs.

Position Summary

This role provides strategic and financial leadership to enhance Children’s value through payer engagement strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing the system-wide contracting program and revenue management, developing and implementing payer engagement initiatives, and managing the entire contracting and chargemaster processes. The position involves leading a team, recruiting staff, and ensuring contract accuracy, compliance, and system integration.

**Required Education:** Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, accounting, finance, management, or related field; Master’s preferred.

**Experience:** Minimum of 10 years in healthcare financial or managed care supervision, with proven success in complex health systems, familiarity with value-based models, and experience with charge description masters.

**Skills:** Strong understanding of healthcare market trends, contracting expertise, leadership ability, strategic planning, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills.
