Job summary

The Specialty Alliance (TSA) is seeking a Director of Payer Relations to lead contracting and negotiations with payers across an assigned geography. The role drives value-based arrangements, pricing strategies, and contract management to optimize revenue and ensure compliant implementation of agreements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; significant industry experience may be considered in lieu.
• 5+ years in management roles in provider relations or contract management preferred.
• Experience with value-based contracting and payers is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages payer contracting for an assigned geography.
• Participates and leads contract negotiations and pricing improvements to drive profitable revenue growth.
• Develops strategic positioning and manages complex contracts including value-based or risk arrangements.
• Educates TSA provider offices on contract initiatives and health plan policies.
• Oversees contract renewals and ensures rates are loaded and payments made per contracts.
• Reports to Executive leadership and collaborates with Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical leadership.
