Job summary

Beam Therapeutics is seeking a Director, Patient Services to lead the patient services strategy for risto-cel, Beam's lead asset for sickle cell disease. The role drives program design, operational planning, launch readiness, and execution across access and support programs.

You will partner with Brand, Market Access, and Patient Operations to implement solutions, monitor performance with data analytics, and ensure compliance with regulations. Travel ~25% and onsite 1–3 days/week are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with 8+ years in Patient Services, including field and/or strategy roles.
• Experience in developing billing & coding guides.
• Experience in developing patient services strategies, including design of key program elements (e.g., financial assistance programs, travel & lodging, etc.).
• Experience in evaluating, researching, and securing OIG opinions and deep understanding of Anti-Kickback Statute regulations.
• Buy & bill and rare disease experience required; Experience in cell or gene therapy preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional field teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Position Overview:

Beam is looking for a Director, Patient Services, to join our growing Market Access team. The Director, Patient Services will lead development and execution of the patient services strategy for risto-cel, Beam's lead asset in development for sickle cell disease.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time/as needed

Beam Pay Range $210,000 - $260,000 USD
