WHAT WE NEED
We are seeking a Director, Patient Recruitment to lead Inspire’s patient recruitment efforts across our portfolio of commercial and R&D Solutions. This individual will drive both strategic planning and hands-on-execution, leveraging a combination of outreach channels and data-informed processes to deliver results. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise end-to-end recruitment strategy – from defining target cohorts and mapping patient funnels to executing multichannel patient recruitment campaigns email, digital marketing, and other targeted tactics.
Responsibilities of the Director, Patient Recruitment
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies, including cohort identification, funnel development, outreach planning, and campaign performance delivery and optimization.
- Bring deep expertise in designing, executing, and optimizing patient recruitment campaigns, with a focus on digital outreach and omnichannel strategies across email, digital ads, community posts, social media, paid media, and partnerships.
- Lead the hands-on execution of patient recruitment efforts across Inspire’s commercial and R&D Solutions portfolio.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
- Monitor and analyze funnel metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to assess campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Set success metrics and operational standards for all recruitment commitments made for funded projects, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Lead retrospective analyses to evaluate recruitment outcomes and apply actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and manage partnerships and vendors that support patient recruitment efforts.
- Create internal playbooks, tools, and delivery frameworks to optimize patient recruitment performance and execution across teams.
- Track and report patient recruitment performance, learnings, and insights to support continuous improvement.
- Provide direct support to the Patient Recruitment Solution, including responsibility for financial performance, pricing strategy, forecasting, and margin optimization.
- Identify and support opportunities for innovation, scalability, and efficiency within the recruitment capability.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Education – Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in public health, clinical research, healthcare marketing, or related field is preferred.
- Experience – Demonstrates 6+ years of experience in developing patient recruitment strategies and managing projects that drive effective patient recruitment. Prior experience at a company that specializes in providing patient recruitment, retention, and site optimization for clinical trials is required.
- Expertise – Brings deep expertise in designing and implementing patient recruitment solutions, with a focus on digital outreach, omnichannel campaign strategies, and data-driven performance optimization. Skilled in developing recruitment funnels, analyzing key metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates), and leading retrospectives to drive continuous improvement through actionable insights.
- Technical – Brings strong technical expertise across recruitment technology platforms, including audience builder and cohort segmentation tools, email marketing platforms (i.e., Braze), survey tools (i.e., Alchemer, Decipher), and landing page builders, enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable patient recruitment.
- Communication – Excels in cross-functional project leadership and leading consultative and deliverable experiences with clients.
- Adaptability – Shows flexibility in navigating changing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational – Is highly organized with strong attention to detail and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
