We are seeking an experienced Director of Recruitment Strategy (for patient and caregiver advocates) to lead and optimize our Advocate recruitment campaigns. This is a pivotal role for a marketing leader with exceptional project management skills, keen organizational acumen, and a deep understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary contact for recruitment solutions across our pharmaceutical client portfolio.
  • Strategize and execute recruitment campaigns, managing internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Oversee the internal ticketing system—providing quotes, guiding campaigns through each phase, and ensuring clarity on deliverables.
  • Monitor and adapt campaign tactics based on performance data and client needs.
  • Conduct or delegate research to identify optimal recruitment channels and ensure materials align with audience and campaign goals.
  • Perform quality assurance on all creative assets and recruitment materials.
  • Track and report on key campaign metrics, including leads, conversion rates, and channel performance.
  • Manage budgets and communicate progress updates to internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 8 years of experience in biopharmaceutical marketing, public relations, or advocacy relations—agency experience highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in marketing strategy for pharmaceutical brands, with an ability to think creatively and explore new engagement avenues.
  • Strong knowledge of medical, regulatory, and legal (MRL) processes and patient privacy standards.
  • Familiarity with the patient advocacy landscape; existing relationships with advocacy organizations are a plus.
  • Exceptional skills in project management, vendor coordination, and data analysis (Excel, Smartsheet proficiency required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, marketing, or a related field.

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal customers seeking recruitment solutions on behalf of pharmaceutical clients
  • Conduct or delegate research activities to identify optimal channels and document key targeting inputs
  • Oversee our internal ticketing system; provide quotes to internal customers based on pricing matrix, ensure completion of customer inputs, and move campaigns through requisite phases of initiation to completion
  • Initiate recruitment campaigns with internal, vendor, and partner resources and oversee ongoing communications across all stakeholders
  • Ensure that externally facing creative assets and screeners appropriately reflect target audiences and recruitment goals; serve as final quality assurance reviewer
  • Monitor campaigns across all channels, update internal-facing customers, and facilitate a change in tactics when necessary
  • Develop or improve processes to capture and maintain high-quality data to measure success and drive results
  • Oversee tracking and reporting of recruitment campaigns, including lead and conversions rates, channels, clients, and condition
  • Manage recruitment budgets and communicate updates to internal customers, as applicable

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience executing or directing marketing tactics for bio-pharmaceutical brands; agency experience highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of traditional digital marketing methodologies with an ability to think out-of-the-box and explore news ways of reaching healthcare consumers
  • Knowledge of medical, regulatory, and legal (MRL) pharmaceutical materials approval processes and requirements and patient privacy regulations
  • Familiarity with the patient advocacy group (PAG) landscape; existing relationships with advocacy organizations preferred
  • Proven track record bringing process and order to disparate workstreams, systems, and data sources
  • High level of comfort with Excel and/or Smartsheet; experience creating and maintaining data sets with the highest level of attention to detail
  • Experience managing vendors/partners and direct reports

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, marketing, or a related field
  • At least years of relevant work experience in biopharmaceutical marketing, public relations, or advocacy relations; agency experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and manage internal processes efficiently and effectively
  • Commitment to the highest levels of internal and external customer relationship management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of services

This job operates remotely and will routinely use a computer/laptop.
