Job Summary

The Director of Outpatient Rehabilitative Services directs the operational, budgetary and personnel activities of the Outpatient Rehabilitative Services Department. Develops services, policies, procedures, resource plans, and coordinates department programs, services and activities with other departments and services to meet overall hospital goals and objectives. Responsible for management and supervision of department staff.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Work Experience: Five years of experience in a clinical or rehabilitative setting (physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy). Five years of management experience required.

License/Registration/Certification

• Current license to practice in Texas in discipline-specific (SLP, OT, PT, LPTA, COTA).
• Current BLS training required.

Education

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required. Master’s degree in Business Administration required for LPTA or COTA.
