Job summary

Forest View Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Director of Outpatient Services to oversee partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lead referrals, treatment planning, and staff management while driving program growth.

The role requires a Master’s in a mental health field, five years of psychiatric experience, and Michigan-licensed credentials (LPC/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT). CPR/HWC/CPI certification is required before hands-on care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Current LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT license (Michigan).
• CPR and HWC/CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies' regulations and patient rights standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate Outpatient Programs and Services.
• Develop and maintain hospital policies and procedures in areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Participate in senior management decisions, budgeting, and staffing.
