Job Title: Director, Organizational Development & Change Management

Location: Based in Acton, Massachusetts; Hybrid

Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Organizational Development & Change Management. This role will lead the change strategy for cross-functional and enterprise initiatives, including an initial focus on Insulet’s Global Business Services (IGBS) transformation. The role will drive adoption, engagement, and sustained behavioral change across the organization. The ideal candidate will have business acumen and deep expertise in change management, organizational development, and organizational design, with a proven track record of enabling large-scale transformation in a global, matrixed environment.

The role is a key member of the Talent Management & Organizational Development (TM&OD) Center of Excellence and will report to the Senior Director, Organizational Development & Change Management. It will collaborate closely with HRBPs, Communications, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to support transformation initiatives, ensuring consistency and synergy across all workstreams.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and change readiness activities across functions and geographies.
  • Design and implement change impact assessments, resistance management plans, and adoption metrics.
  • Partner with functional leaders to embed change management practices into project planning and execution.
  • Drive stakeholder and leadership alignment through structured engagement frameworks, regular pulse checks, and strategic communication to maintain unified direction and commitment throughout the transformation journey.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment and sponsorship to ensure visible and active support for transformations; strengthen leadership change management knowledge & capabilities.
  • Organizational Development & Design: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to assess organizational design implications, including structure changes, role clarity, and capability needs.
  • Support the design and implementation of new organizational models, governance structures, and decision rights.
  • Communications & Engagement: Partner with Communications to embed effective communication plans into the change strategy; tailor communications for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure messaging and storytelling connect the transformation to the company’s mission, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define and track KPIs related to change adoption, employee experience, and business outcomes; use data-driven insights to refine strategies.
  • Leverage industry best practices to strengthen change management capabilities across the organization.
Experience / Qualifications
  • 10+ years designing and leading complex transformation and change initiatives
  • Deep expertise in change management methodologies; Prosci certification a plus
  • Ability to influence and drive behavior change at all levels of leadership
  • Excels at navigating ambiguity with clarity and confidence
  • Experience designing and leading Change Management strategies and execution for key business initiatives, with clear change readiness and communication plans
  • Ability to lead organizational structure design strategy and create role clarity (RACI)
  • Experience designing and facilitating workshop and multi-day offsite senior leadership sessions
  • Experience with global business service transformations a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Some travel may be required, approximately 20%

The position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $157,725.00 - $236,587.50. The range reflects minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in the primary US work location. Within the range, pay is determined by location and factors including skills, experience, and training. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist can share more during the hiring process.
