Job summary

Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking a Director of Education Operations to lead our education teams, overseeing 6 Education managers and 90+ instructors, and to drive an outstanding student experience across campuses.

You will align Education, Admissions, and Student Services with KPIs, mentor leaders, manage P&L, and recruit top talent while promoting accountability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Business Administration or Management preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of progressive professional experience in operations or service-related industries, with 5 years in leadership or management, including P&L/budgetary responsibility.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills, with proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Skills: Ability to navigate a matrix organization and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Abilities: Must be able to sit and walk for prolonged periods, use a keyboard, and occasionally travel overnight.

  • Have a Strong student facing and focus with being visible and leading with humility.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top operational talent, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
