Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director, Operations (CRE) to oversee the development and support of Asset Services initiatives. The role focuses on strategy and tactical decisions for platform tools and resources, and ensures deployment aligns with the firm’s standards across geographic markets.

The position requires 10+ years of property management experience, CRE and accounting knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial real estate and accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and deploy best practices across Asset Services.
  • Collaborate with geographic city leads to ensure execution and client satisfaction and drive distribution, participation and review of tenant satisfaction assessments.
  • Liaise between Asset Services operations and HR, Finance and IT Operations teams.
  • Represent Asset Services on development and deployment of tools and resources, including technology enhancements.
  • Participate in calls and meetings for Asset Services projects, representing the service line on initiatives and future deployments.
  • Develop key initiatives and achieve goals as directed by Asset Services leadership.
  • Develop business cases for platform enhancements and obtain stakeholder approval.
  • Provide guidance on deployments of new tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with Client Accounting, Transitions and Quality Control and Training/CAM Analyst teams.
  • Work with Asset Services Training on deployment of training resources across markets.
  • Manage the daily tasks of a direct report (analyst).
  • Minimal travel expected.

Job Description Summary

Oversees the development and support of initiatives for Asset Services. Serve in an operations role providing strategy and tactical decisions on behalf of Asset Services for the development of tools and resources for the platform. Instrumental in the growth and development of the platform as well as the execution of ongoing operational tasks and responsibilities. Collaborate and partner with asset services leadership and geographic markets to ensure successful deployment and execution of initiatives with the highest level of service consistent with Cushman & Wakefield’s standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Help to identify opportunities and deploy best practices across the Asset Services business.
  • Partner with internal service lines, key stakeholders, geographic city leads to ensure a high level of execution and client satisfaction as well as help drive distribution, participation, and review of tenant satisfaction assessments.
  • Help liaison and collaborate between Asset Services operations team and the HR, Finance, and IT Operations teams.
  • Represent the Asset Services business and serve as the project coordinator on development and deployment of tools, resources, including technology enhancements.
  • Participate in calls and meetings relative to Asset Services projects, representing the service line on key initiatives, projects in process or under consideration for future deployment.
  • Assist in developing key initiatives and achieving goals as outlined by Asset Services leadership.
  • Develop business case as needed for platform enhancements for key stakeholder approval.
  • Make recommendations, establish solutions, and resolve issues with regards to current tools and resources in use or future tools needed to support the growth of Asset Services.
  • Educate and provide guidance to Asset Services on platform resources and deployment of new tools.
  • Collaborate with Client Accounting, Transitions and Quality Control team and Training / CAM Analyst team in operations.
  • Partner with these teams on development of tools and technology enhancements.
  • Work with Asset Services Training team on deployment of training resources to the geographic markets in Asset Services as new processes and procedures are developed.
  • Manage the daily tasks / activities of a direct report (analyst).
  • Minimal travel required.
IMPORTANT EDUCATION

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

10+ years of Property Management Experience Or any similar combination of education and experience Experience in commercial real estate and accounting knowledge

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $ 144,755.00 - $170,300.00
