Job summary

The Ladders is seeking a Director-Operations to lead our manufacturing and automotive aligned operations across multiple sites. This remote role requires US-based candidates and offers full P&L oversight, with emphasis on safety, environmental stewardship, productivity, and financial performance.

You will drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, partner with cross-functional teams, and build a high-performing leadership team to strengthen long-term competitiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, construction products, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with full P&L responsibility and delivering financial results.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director-Operations to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will oversee multi-site operations with a strong focus on safety, environmental stewardship, productivity, and financial performance. The leader will drive continuous improvement across facilities while strengthening operational discipline and execution. This position will also partner closely with cross-functional teams to support innovation, supply chain performance, and long-term competitiveness.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually
