Job summary

National Louis University in Chicago invites applications for the position of Director and Open Rank Professor of Business Administration. This is a twelve-month, full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position serving in the Undergraduate College.

The Director will provide academic and operational leadership for the Business program, collaborate with the Senior Director to implement initiatives, oversee curriculum development, and build external partnerships to support growth and student success.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business or related field is required; Doctorate preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience in higher education, working with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated record of teaching excellence, ideally in a university or college setting.
• Ability to connect instruction to real-world relevance in the classroom.
• Successful project management experience including leading complex initiatives and external partnerships.
• Advanced proficiency in technology and data systems for analysis and reporting.
• Advanced conflict management and negotiation skills across students, faculty, and partners.
• Develops and executes action plans to drive impact and improve outcomes.
• Experience with organizational development and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and provide oversight of Academic Programming in undergraduate Business Administration.
• Lead course development, revisions, and program expansions to align with industry standards.
• Lead regular department meetings and coordinate instructional planning and data-driven improvement.
• Collaborate on data review of course and program data to support planning and expansions.
• Manage scheduling to ensure options and progression toward graduation.
• Hire and supervise faculty, conduct evaluations, and support professional development.
• Lead annual program review and assessment to meet university KPIs.
• Foster enrollment growth and build employer pipelines with external partners.
