Position Overview

The Director of Strategic Partnerships and Research Administration (DSPRA) is the senior administrative leader overseeing research operations, strategic affiliations, and partnership development. The role involves strategic planning, research administration, personnel management, budgeting, community engagement, and operational leadership to elevate MCC's academic and clinical standing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years relevant experience or 12 years of combined experience, education, and training.
• Leadership skills for managing large or multiple research entities.
• Financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and audit expertise.
• Interpersonal skills for collaboration and influence.
• Ability to foster teamwork and innovation.
• Strong communication and grant writing skills.
• Experience in research administration within academic health systems, preferably in cancer research.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, health administration, or related field.
• Over 5 years of progressive leadership in research administration.
• Leadership experience in an NCI-designated Cancer Center preferred.
