The Moores Cancer Center (MCC) is one of just 57 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States and the only one in San Diego County. It is a collaborative partnership among UCSD, SDSU, LJI, and UCSD Health, dedicated to reducing cancer's burden through research, patient care, outreach, and education. The Director of Strategic Partnerships and Research Administration (DSPRA) is a key leadership role overseeing research operations, strategic affiliations, and the MCC's strategic planning. The role involves partnering with senior leadership to advance research, clinical, and educational objectives, managing personnel, budgets, space, and community outreach efforts. Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $163,800 - $331,200 (prorated if less than 100%)
Hourly Range: $78.45 - $158.62
Compensation factors include experience, skills, education, and organizational needs. The posted pay scale reflects the budgeted salary range, which may vary based on internal equity and other factors.
UC San Diego requires compliance with vaccination policies and may have additional health directives. Life-support certifications must include hands-on skills assessment.
