Job summary

Taiho Oncology seeks a Director, Clinical Research Scientist to lead design, execution and reporting of oncology trials (phases 1–3). You will assist medical monitors and CRS manager to drive CRS processes and study delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in oncology drug development, data interpretation, and regulatory knowledge in US/EU. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site 3 days/week in Pleasanton, CA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in drug development industry in oncology.
• Ability to critically review and interpret clinical data.
• Working knowledge of the drug development process in the USA and EU.
• Ability to communicate clinical information to non-clinical team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, execution and reporting of oncology trials (phases 1–3).
• Assist the medical lead or lead medical monitor for various trials.
• Contribute to CRS process improvement as needed.
• Review protocol deviations, eligibility and data with the medical lead.
• Review safety data, SAEs, labs and efficacy data with stakeholders.
• Develop medical/protocol training for site initiation visits and investigator meetings.
