Job description

The Director, Omnichannel role will be responsible for leading our omnichannel strategy development at our top grocery customers to achieve profitability and meet our sales & share objectives. This role will analyze customer and eCommerce data to identify opportunities to increase shopper conversion, bring omnichannel strategies to the forefront of our go-to-market efforts, and build partnerships with key retailer contacts. The position will serve as a subject matter expert to our sales teams, key customers, and internal partners to help transform our physical selling capabilities. The role reports to the VP of eCommerce.

What You Will Do
  1. Partner with our top grocery customers and GP sales teams to maximize sales and share of their omnichannel businesses.
  2. Work alongside sales to develop and execute our omnichannel account plan across platforms.
  3. Maintain best-in-class knowledge of DSMPs, audit business data, derive insights, and proactively address issues.
  4. Ensure the Omni Customer POV is integrated cross-functionally and across sales teams, including category, brand building, digital operations, content, BE, customer planning, and supply chain.
  5. Help build a playbook for investments across fulfillment modalities to deliver retailer and category objectives.
  6. Ideate and execute strategies across various eCommerce supply chain fulfillment options (D2C, Concierge, BOPIS, eCommerce Parcel).
  7. Collaborate with category and sales strategy teams to shape customer and GP eCommerce strategies.
  8. Engage with key customers to influence their and our eCommerce strategies.
  9. Disseminate eCommerce training, development, and deployment materials throughout the organization.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of customer or eCommerce experience in the CPG industry.
  • Experience with financial analysis.
  • Ability to analyze and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with tools such as IRI, Renvue, Bazaarvoice, customer platforms/data, Syndigo, or CIQ.
