Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Director, Procurement & Prefabrication Modular Offsite Fabrication (PPMOF) to lead complex procurement, vendor management, and offsite fabrication activities for major project teams. You will support setting the Corporate Vision and Initiatives as it relates to PPMOF and promote its use across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in PPMOF, procurement, estimating, construction field operations, or related construction environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, purchasing methods, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and subcontract or purchase order administration.
• Understanding of contract law principles, insurance requirements, office policies, and procurement procedures.
• Knowledge of prefabrication, modular construction processes, PPMOF delivery strategies, and construction logistics.

Responsibilities

• Promote PPMOF adoption across the enterprise by identifying opportunities to expand adoption, supporting corporate PPMOF initiatives, and partnering with project and leadership teams to advance offsite fabrication strategies.
• Lead procurement efforts on assigned projects.
• Notify owner teams of delivery requirements and procurement needs; manage purchase orders and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate OFCI deliveries, vendor shop drawings, and delivery requirements with vendors and site teams.
• Verify OFCI deliveries and track items, developing corrective action plans when required.
