Job summary

Aon is seeking a Director, Offensive Security & Assurance to lead the global offensive security and assurance capabilities within Proactive Threat Operations. You will drive continuous adversary validation, purple-teaming, and attack-path elimination across endpoints, identities, cloud, and applications.

You will partner with Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Vulnerability teams to translate threats into actionable testing and architectural improvements, reporting to senior leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years in offensive security, penetration testing, red teaming, or adversary emulation.
• Proven leadership of complex security testing programs in global environments.
• Experience building mature offensive security capabilities and roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint, identity and access management, cloud, networks, apps, APIs, and browser techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Offensive Security & Assurance capability within Proactive Threat Operations.
• Define the offensive security strategy, operating model, priorities, standards, and technical roadmap.
• Evolve testing toward continuous adversary validation and recurring purple-team operations.
• Develop adversary emulation scenarios based on threat intelligence and observed exposures.
• Plan and oversee testing across endpoint, identity, cloud, SaaS, network, apps, and APIs.
• Validate remediation actions and ensure retesting before closure.
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Vulnerability teams to map risks to controls.
