Job description
Director of Youth Ministry and Coordinator of Contemporary Worship

Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church is a community of faith in McLeansville, North Carolina, that strives to represent the love of Christ in the community and beyond. This dynamic church is seeking a hybrid, full-time role: Director of Youth Ministry and Coordinator of Contemporary Worship. With nearly 800 members in this missionally focused congregation, this is a unique opportunity to bring a high level of passion and energy for building and strengthening the church’s ministry to youth and college students while serving as the leader of the contemporary worship service.

Ideal candidates will have relational gifts for reaching and inspiring 6th through 12th graders during their formative years of Christian discipleship, as well as ministering to the unique needs of college students. In addition to building commitment and trust with parents, training and equipping volunteers, and steering a Spirit-led program of mission and ministry opportunities, the director will join an enthusiastic pastor, ministry staff, and administrative team committed to youth and their families.

If you have a deep and living relationship with Jesus Christ consistent with the United Methodist tradition, a college degree, a call to minister to youth and their families, musical ability to lead worship, and contagious faith, we encourage you to send your resume, along with a cover letter, to Aly.Eaton@MinistryArchitects.com.
