Job summary

Tuckston United Methodist Church seeks a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries passionate about mentoring youth and young adults. Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

Tuckston United Methodist Church is seeking Director for Youth and Young Adult ministries. Applicants should possess, a strong sense of call and passion for ministry with youth and young adults.

Other qualifications include, spiritual maturity, computer and technology skills, strategic thinking and strong oral and written communication skills. Applicants should be a team player, organizer and self-starter. The applicant should Produce results with minimum supervision and guidance and possess some budgetary experience. There is an expectation that applicant should be an excellent mentor with the ability to develop interns and volunteers. Applicants should demonstrate character, core values and a personal lifestyle compatible with a Christ-centered ministry and be willing to embrace the mission and vision of Tuckston United Methodist Church.

Responsibilities include overall supervision and administration of the youth program, recruitment and retention of Young Adult ministry and the planning and leading of annual events.
