Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses relevant to expertise and program needs
  • Employ diverse teaching strategies across classroom, online, laboratory, and clinical settings
  • Collaborate on curriculum development, improvement, and evaluation
  • Develop and disseminate scholarship to advance nursing practice and education
  • Engage in service activities aligned with the mission of MNSON, the university, and the nursing profession
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives within the program
Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
  • Eligibility for Illinois RN licensure
  • Eligibility for Illinois APRN licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Certification as a women’s health nurse practitioner
  • Current practice as a WHGRNP and potential to maintain a scholarship program
  • Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher
Additional Information

Salary Range: $80,000 – $124,000 for a 9-month academic appointment, with a 12-month administrative stipend. Review of applications begins February 2025.
