What You'll Do
  • Lead Resident Wellness: Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate all clinical and wellness services provided in the community.
  • Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and medication management to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Champion a proactive approach to resident care that supports independence, dignity, and quality of life.
  • Inspire & Develop a Strong Team: Hire, train, and mentor wellness staff including nurses and caregivers.
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead with empathy, encouraging continued learning and professional development.
  • Ensure Clinical Compliance: Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys and uphold compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, incident reports, and follow up on care-related issues.
  • Partner with pharmacy consultants, physicians, and external agencies to support resident needs.
  • Collaborate for Holistic Care: Work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to align clinical services with community goals.
  • Participate in care conferences, family meetings, and community activities.
  • Help create an environment where wellness is woven into every aspect of daily life.
  • Support Residents & Families: Be a resource, advocate, and point of contact for residents and their loved ones.
  • Promote programs and initiatives that address the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
  • CPR certification and knowledge of best practices in infection control and senior wellness.
  • Experience & Leadership: At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
  • Skilled in team management, training, and performance improvement.
  • Skills & Competencies: Working knowledge of state healthcare regulations and wellness program development.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
